The simplest booking: your driver picks you up in Scottsdale or Phoenix and drives you to your Sedona destination — hotel, resort, Airbnb, or hiking trailhead. One flat rate, no return trip charge to you. Common for guests checking in to Enchantment Resort, L'Auberge de Sedona, Amara Resort, or Sedona vacation rentals.
your driver drives you to Sedona in the morning, stays available as your driver throughout the day, and brings you home in the evening. Visit wineries, hike Cathedral Rock or Devil's Bridge, explore Tlaquepaque Arts Village, stop for lunch in Uptown Sedona. The Suburban is your base for the day. See Sedona Day Trips for full details.
The wine country between Sedona and Cottonwood has over a dozen tasting rooms within a 15-mile stretch. When everyone in the group wants to taste, you need a driver. we handle the route between wineries — Page Springs Cellars, Javelina Leap, Oak Creek Vineyards, Alcantara, and the Cottonwood tasting rooms — while your group enjoys the afternoon.
Flying into Phoenix and heading straight to Sedona? your driver picks you up at Sky Harbor Terminal 3 or 4 and drives directly to your Sedona destination. No rental car counter, no navigating I-17 for the first time after a cross-country flight. About 2.5 hours door to door from the airport.
The I-17 northbound route climbs from the Sonoran Desert floor at 1,100 feet through Black Canyon City and Cordes Junction to the Yavapai County high desert at 3,500 feet, then drops into the Verde Valley and climbs again to Sedona at 4,300 feet. The final stretch on AZ-179 through Village of Oak Creek passes Bell Rock, Courthouse Butte, and Cathedral Rock — the iconic red rock formations that Sedona is famous for. It's a beautiful drive, and it's better from the passenger seat.
Holiday weekends (Thanksgiving, Christmas, MLK, Presidents' Day) create heavy traffic on I-17, especially southbound on Sunday evenings. your driver accounts for this in scheduling and knows alternate routes when I-17 backs up. Winter weekends can also bring snow closures on the Flagstaff side, but the Sedona route via AZ-179 stays open in nearly all conditions.
